Wedding Philosophy

When I got married, I was looking for a photographer who would shoot from the beginning to the end for the wedding photo book and take some pretty pics of us to frame, AND doesn’t cost too much money. It was a lot harder to find than I thought.

I am shooting the way I would want. I want to look through my photos of the day and relive the moments. I also want some modern, pretty posed pics. Easy enough!

My years of work in photojournalism have set me up to take candid photos for weddings and events. I started working as a newspaper photographer right after college and started making my way west across the country.

I have worked for The Colorado Springs Gazette, The Antelope Valley Press, the Petoskey News-Review, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. My photos have appeared in the LA Times, The Seattle Times, USA Today, The Detroit News, and on MSNBC.com.
